Name of Programme: Bachelor of Technology (Mechanical Engineering)

  • To prepare the Learner with a sound foundation in the mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals.
  • To motivate the Learner in the art of self-learning and to use modern tools for solving real life problems.
  • To inculcate a professional and ethical attitude, good leadership qualities and commitment to social responsibilities in the Learner’s thought process.
  • To prepare the Learner for a successful career in Indian and Multinational Organizations.

Programme Outcomes (PO)

PO 1Apply the basic knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering to solve the mechanical engineering problems.
PO 2Assess societal, health, safety, cultural issues and responsibility related to mechanical engineering problem.
PO 3Demonstrate the ability to design and conduct experiments, interpret and analyse the data and report results.
PO 4Select and use appropriate modern mechanical engineering tools to analyse and solve mechanical engineering problems.
